Guest Info

Whether you are a guest of a Member or staying at the Wequassett Resort, we are delighted to welcome you to Cape Cod National Golf Club and hope you enjoy your visit. In order to make your visit as pleasurable as possible, please note a few very important policies at the Club when making use of the facilities.

Dress Code

Appropriate dress is required in all areas of the Clubhouse and Golf Facility. Smart casual dress is appropriate at all times unless otherwise specified. However, no jeans, warm-up suits, short shorts, cut-off shorts, halters, tank-tops, cropped tops, or clothing in disrepair are appropriate at any time. Men's shirts must have sleeves and a collar or mock turtleneck, and must be tucked in. Hats must be worn with the bill forward and gentlemen are expected to remove their hats while in the dining room. The dress code applies to children as well.

Appropriate shoes without metal spikes are required on the golf course. Use of any shoes other than golf shoes must first receive approval from the Golf Shop.

It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure that their guests are familiar with the Club's dress code requirements.

Cell Phone Policy

When visiting Cape Cod National it is important that your cell phone use does not disturb those around you. With this in mind, all visitors are asked to keep their phones on silent at all times while on property. The use of smart phones for texting or emailing is acceptable in all areas of the Club. Should the need to make or receive a phone call arise, we ask that you do so in a discrete manner so as not to disturb those around you. Please avoid making or receiving phone calls in the Dining Room, Main Foyer, or the area outside the Golf Shop.

Practice Area

The Club practice areas and putting greens are an integral part of our facility. When using the practice range, balls must never be hit over the driving range net for obvious safety reasons and any person observed doing so will be asked to stop practicing immediately. When there is a wait for teeing space at the range, you should limit your practice time to allow others an opportunity. When chipping, pitching, or hitting sand shots onto the practice green, please check for and repair ball marks, rake the bunker, and place practice balls back in the shag basket or designated area.

Pace of Play

Pace of play is vitally important at Cape Cod National. All groups should keep up with the group in front of them. A Cape Cod National staff member may ask you to speed up or skip a hole if necessary. A round of golf should take no longer than 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Cart Rules

Golf is a walking game and is encouraged at all times. For those who wish to take a golf cart, please follow these simple rules. Try to keep golf carts IN the fairways whenever possible. Furthermore, under no circumstance should the carts ever enter the long fescue grass or the woods. Finally, please pay attention to and abide by all posted cart signs.
