  • Assistant Golf Professional
    • Reports to: Head Professional
      Expected Compensation: $35,000 - $40,000
      Hours Per Week: 40-50 (Paid Hourly)
      Date range: May - October (22-24 Weeks)

  • Grounds Workers
    • Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent, First Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
      Rate of Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
      Hours: 35-40, Overtime Available
      Date Range: May 1, 2024 - November 15, 2024

      Job Summary: Grounds Workers are responsible for the overall maintenance and care of golf club grounds, plantings, and trees. Will do watering, mowing, weeding, raking, bunker work and spread sand, seed, and fertilizer. Will lay sod, install/repair drainage, aerify greens; clearing of leaves and debris from all outdoor areas, rubbish removal; maintain tool and equipment, and perform other landscaping work. Ability to lift and carry and move items up to 50 lbs. Required to work in all weather conditions. Drive landscaping utility vehicles. Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license or eligibility to drive in the U.S. If requested, employer will reimburse for motor vehicle record checks as well as the cost of taking Massachusetts RMV, eye, written, and road exams. No experience necessary; will train.

      On-site employee housing available for eligible employees. The housing was renovated in 2022 and features full kitchens, central air conditioning, new furniture, bedding, free parking and no-cost washer and dryer.

  • Line Cooks
    • Reports to: Head Chef, Front of House Manager
      Rate of Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 Per Hour
      Hours: 35-40 Hours, Overtime Available
      Employment Dates: May 15, 2024 - October 15, 2024

      Job Summary: Line Cooks will prepare meals and food items following the Club’s standards and recipes using hot and cold cooking techniques and with a minimum amount of supervision. Duties include: prepare meals to order and also for large functions, keep kitchen areas and machines clean and orderly. All cooks at Cape Cod National Golf Club must also wash dishes, pots, and pans from time to time during periods when no dishwasher is on duty. Must be able to use all kitchen equipment, i.e. slicers, mixers, food processors, stoves, broilers, steamers, grills, fryers, ovens, kettles, knives, etc. Must possess a culinary degree or certificate (foreign equivalent accepted) or in the alternative, one year experience cooking in a full service restaurant.

  • Servers
    • Reports to: Front of House Manager, Head Chef
      Rate of Pay: $27.00 Per Hour
      Hours: 35-40 Hours, Overtime Available
      Employment Dates: June 1, 2024 - October 15, 2024

      Job Summary: Servers will serve food and beverages to guests throughout all club dining venues. Accurately take orders and completes bill and payment transactions on POS system. Follows daily checklists for side work including set-ups, stocks, and break down of service. Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs. Must have excellent communications skills. Min. age is 18 due to alcohol service. No experience necessary; will train.

  • Assistant in Training (Golf Couse Maintenance)
    • Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent, Lead Assistant, Full-Time Staff
      Rate of Pay: $23.00 - $25.00
      Employment Status: Full-Time
      Start Date: Immediate

      Job Summary: The Assistant in Training (AIT) position is for individuals with limited golf course experience looking to become full-time turf management professionals. The AIT will work with Superintendent, Lead Assistant and all full-time staff to help grow and learn all essential skills required to work on a golf course while creating a path for advancement within our organization.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities
      • Work hand-in-hand with the Superintendent and Lead Assistant to develop and implement agronomic programs.
      • Assist in all aspects of golf course mowing.
      • Safely participate in fertilizer and chemical applications. Learn to calibrate both fertilizer spreaders and sprayers. Assist in maintaining proper record-keeping and inventory levels while producing monthly usage reports.
      • Water resource management; learn hand-watering, irrigation troubleshooting, and repair fundamentals.
      • Technology; EZ Pins hole location management software, Playbooks pesticide record keeping. Toro GPS Sprayer technology.
      • Involved in the daily course setup and inspection.
      • Assist in tree management practices, i.e., removals, pruning.
      • Access to continuing education and dues for local and national associations.
      • Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.

      Requirements
      • 1-3 years experience working on a golf course or landscape-type position
      • Excellent verbal communication
      • Valid Driver’s License

  • Locker Room Attendant
    • Reports to: Front of House Manager
      Rate of Pay: $20.00-$25.00
      Employment Dates: Mid-May - September 2024
      Hours: Part-Time; Seasonal

      Job Summary: The Locker Room Attendant at Cape Cod National Golf Club will be responsible for providing a high-level of customer service in the locker room area to all Members and guests. 

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
      • Engage in positive conversations with Members and guests at any point of contact.
      • Manage the organization and stock of all amenities/toiletries offered in the Locker Room.
      • Manage keys and Member requests regarding the Locker Room.
      • Monitor and maintain the clean appearance of the Locker Room.
      • Laundering and folding towels.
      • Cleaning and re-spiking golf shoes.
      • Assure that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained.
      • Create a desirable atmosphere through attitude, appearance, and knowledgeable service.

      Requirements
      • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
      • Availability for early shifts beginning at 6:00 a.m.
      • Flexible schedule to accommodate working tournaments.
      • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
      • A friendly smile and great attitude are also a must.
